Levi's revealed at MacWorld that they would be releasing
their first "iPod compatible" jeans in 2006. The new line of jeans, called RedWire DLX, will incorporate the
plug-and-play technology of the iPod, complete with a "joystick" built into the watch pocket, allowing one to
control the device without having to remove it. The jeans allow the device to rest comfortably without any unsightly
bulges. It's a clever idea, I'm just not sure it's worth it. It seems to me most peoplehave already gotten used to
figuring out how to carry and manipulate their iPods when they're out and about. This sounds nice in theory, but I'm
not sure there's that many people looking for this kind of attire, even if the idea of a "joystick in your watch
pocket" does sound kind of sexy.Levi's gets iPod compatible
